NATCHEZ — Services for Fleming Green Sr., 83, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Green was born June 13, 1929, in Woodville, the son of Willie Green Sr. and Emma Hunter Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie Ferguson Green; four sisters; and seven brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Green and Tameika Green and companion, Ron Haney; four sons, Fleming Green Jr., Malcolm Green, Michael Green and wife, Gisele, and Larry Green and companion, Priscilla Phipps; a devoted grandson he reared as his own, Roddrick Lee Green; five special grandchildren, Kimberly Rawlings and companion, Albert Fleming Jr., Courtney Green Johnson and husband, Daylon, Michael B. Green, JaDarius King and Kayliana Haney; two stepsons, Charles Ferguson and Larry Ferguson, both of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Lepora Ellis of Natchez and Hattie Tolliver of Woodville; one brother, Alfred Green of Natchez; three special sisters-in-law, Helen Hayes of Baton Rouge, Mary L. Green and Bertha Green, both of Natchez; four special nieces and nephews, Patricia Green, Debra Ellis, Michelle Green and Lonnie Green; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
