WINSTON SALEM, N.C. — Memorial services for Jeffery Davis Lumpkin, 46, who died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville, N.C.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gentry Family Funeral Service.

Mr. Lumpkin was born March 26, 1967, in Ruston, La., the son of Dr. William “Bill” Lumpkin and Elizabeth Davis Lumpkin.

He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Chip Lumpkin; and his grandmother, Billie Woodard.

Survivors include one son, Caleb Davis Lumpkin; his wife, Shannon Dubuisson; his mother; father-in-law, Douglas Dubuisson and wife, Linda; mother-in-law, Dianne Dubuisson; a large group of fraternal brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon; and a number of other friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caleb Lumpkin College Fund, 4183 Lytchfield Court, Winston Salem, NC 27104.
