Mike and Kathy Halley announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Michelle Halley, to John Wayne Polk, son of Peggy Polk and Jimmy Polk, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is employed by Southside Market in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Vernon and Rita Clark of West Monroe, La., the late Clara L. Clark of North Little Rock, Ark., and the late Bernie and Ann Halley of Warren, Ark.

The groom-to-be is employed by 61 Wine and Spirits in Natchez.

He is the grandson of the late Wilmer and Alta Mae Renfrow, the late Mary Alice Long and the late Jimmy Lewis Polk, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the home of bride-to-be’s parents in Natchez.
