Carrie Pugh of Natchez announces her engagement to Joseph Cue, son of Dean and Melinda Cue of Oelwein, Iowa.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Jack J. Pugh III of Brooksville and the late Polly Parker Pugh of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by Klein Independent School District in Houston, Texas, as a licensed specialist in school psychology.

Carrie is the granddaughter of the late Hicks Parker Jr. and Juanita Parker of Natchez and the late Jack J. Pugh Jr. and Mozelle Pugh of Brooksville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Beebe High School in Beebe, Ark., and a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. He is employed by Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc., in Houston, as assistant treasurer.

Joseph is the grandson of the late Merle and Jeanelle Nicholson of Maynard, Iowa, and the late Harold and Ella Cue of Westgate, Iowa.

A private wedding will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.

A reception will be Aug. 3, 2013, at Stanton Hall in Natchez.
