NATCHEZ — Services for Azalee Small, 72, of Vidalia, who died Friday, July 19, 2013, at her residence, will be at noon Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Small was born July 10, 1941, in Waterproof, the daughter of Abe Small and Novella Clark White. She was a retired lab technician for John Manville.
Ms. Small was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Small; two sisters, Vicky Ward and Marie White; and two brothers, John and Nathaniel Small.
Survivors include two sons, Bertram Small and wife, Reniece, of Austell, Ga., and Malcolm Small of Natchez; four daughters, Sandra Leonard and husband, Danny, Janice Whiting, all of Houston, Wanda Banks of Jackson and Odessa Scruggs of Wichita, Kan.; four sisters; five brothers; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three aunts, Margaret Clark of Las Vegas, Verton Clark of Cerritos, Calif., and Lee Audrey Clark of Pine Bluff, Ark.
