NATCHEZ — Services for Lawrence McKnight, 72, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Paul AME Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service Wednesday at the church.

Mr. McKnight was born Nov. 28, 1940, the son of Frances Drake McKnight and Obediah McKnight.

He was a former employee of Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. and was a baptist.

Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Virginia L. McKnight Myles, Ethel McKnight Morris, all of Natchez and Dorothy Briggs of Chicago; one son, Ricky McKnight of Natchez; ons sister-in-law, Janette McKnight; and a number of other relatives and friends.
