NATCHEZ — Services for Willie Lee Frazier, 84, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Crown Health and Rehab Nursing Home, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery (Duck Pond) under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home. A repast will follow at the church fellowship hall.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Frazier was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Waterproof, the daughter of Robert Frazier and Carrie Robinson.
Willie Lee, also called “Bill,” lived in Natchez and was a beautician for a number of years. She attended Brumfield School and graduated from Alcorn State University in 1972 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
Ms. Frazier taught for a few years at Braden Elementary. She was disable and a homemaker. She was a member of China Grove Baptist Church which became New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms. Frazier was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Fleming and Thelma Angelethy.
Survivors include five children, William “Snoogie” Mills of Bronx, N.Y., Carmen “Jean” Young and husband, Howard, of San Antonio, Texas, Michael Marks and wife, Marionette, of Pensacola, Fla., Cynthia Curry of Birmingham, Ala., and Bonnie Marks and husband, Gordon, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Brenda Holmes and Connie O’Neal; one brother-in-law, Ollie Angelethy; a special friend, Leroy Chatman; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
