Albert “June” Brown Jr.

VIDALIA — Funeral services for Mr. Albert “June” Brown Jr., 56, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.

Mr. Brown was born May 19, 1956 in Natchez, the son of Albert Sr. and Martha McCoy Brown. Albert will be remembered fondly for his kindness and willingness to help others.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Kaye Brown.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley “Nicole” Daniels of Metairie, La., and LaBrina Daniels of Kenner, La.; two sons, Albert Lamont Daniels of Metairie and Duane Daniels of New Orleans; three sisters, Jacqueline Brown Mercadal of Atlanta, Mary Graves of Houston and Rosalyn Hawkins of Vidalia; three brothers, Kelvin Brown and wife LaJeane, and Barry Brown, all of Houston, and Larry Brown of Vidalia; four aunts, Ruby Dominique and husband, Wilbert, of New Orleans, Willie Mae McCoy, Shirley McCoy Rice and husband, Johnny, and Alberta Brown, all of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
