NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Sheila Fleming Hunt, 62, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. James Fallon officiating.

Burial will follow at the Fleming Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Rome, N.Y., the daughter of Florell Patterson and Steven Mitchell.

She was reared by her mother and John F. Patterson Sr.

She was a former Walmart employee, a graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her father; stepfather; one daughter, Monica Fleming; three brothers, Steve Mitchell Jr., Charles Patterson and John F. Patterson Jr.

Survivors include her mother; children, Detrice Hayes and husband, Chris, James Fleming and wife, Shonette, Charles Bates Jr., Keidra Fleming, Charnese Fleming, Donnell Fleming Jr. and wife, Lekita, all of Natchez, and Simone James and husband, Derrick, of Moody, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; eight siblings, Sandra Jenkins and husband, Rodney, Wanda Mayberry Adrain Mitchell, Barbara Patterson, Ronnie Patterson and wife, Patricia, Cedric Patterson and wife, Angie, all of Natchez, Robin Kottow and husband, Joe, of Baltimore, Kim Patterson of Madison; one aunt, Carine Ross of Natchez; special friend, Mildred Hayes; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
