Roslyn, Ashley, Brittanie and CamRon Minor, children of the bride, proudly announce the engagement of their mother, Jennifer DeLisa Minor, to Frederick DeWayne Johnson, son of Larry and Ella Johnson-Walker of Dallas and James and Connie O’Neal of Port Gibson.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Richard and Rosalie Minor of Natchez.

She is a graduate of North Natchez High School and is employed by WMIS/WTYJ Radio Station and the Law Office of Jack Lazarus, both of Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late John and Sarah Henderson, the late John and Elnora Minor, Jimmy Lindsey and the late Jessie Lee Cage.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of North Natchez High School and is employed by Natchez Water Works.

He is the grandson of the late Simon and Clemmie Johnson.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Convention Center. No children please.
