NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Joe Ray Alcorn, 52, of Kerrville, Texas, who died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the V.A. Hospital in Kerrville, will be noon Thursday, at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Ellis Hollingsworth and the Rev. Tim Hanberry officiating.
Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 10 until 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Alcorn was born Feb. 22, 1961, in Tahlequah, Okla., the son of Alfred R. Alcorn and Betty Dripps Alcorn.
Joe was an X-ray technician most of his life, and he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from March 27, 1979, until Aug. 4, 1983.
Survivors include his father and wife, Marjorie; his mother, Betty Labouef and husband, Michael; four sisters, Penny Stutts and husband, Keith, Nancy Glick and husband, Jim, Terry Alcorn and Alice Hammer and husband, Chris.
