Leo Weathersby

GLOSTER — Services for Leo Weathersby, 81, of Gloster, who died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at his residence, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Centreville with the Rev. Timothy Hughes officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Weathersby was born June 7, 1932, in Gloster, the son of Darnis and Pim Weathersby.

He was a military veteran.

Mr. Weathersby was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alsee Weathersby; granddaughter Kalissa Fields; and great-granddaughter Angel Fields.

Survivors include two sons, Mario Weathersby and wife, Dione, of Clinton, and Roy Weathersby of Gloster; four daughters, Debra Norwood, Mary Collins and husband, Barry, Amerzone Jefferson and husband, William, all of Gloster, and Linda White and husband, Albert, of Coles; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Alice Jefferson of New Orleans and Janie Williams of Baton Rouge; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
