NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Gloria Grace Tuccio, 87, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Franklin County Hospital, in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Tuccio was born on Sep. 24, 1926, in Queens, N.Y.
She was a very talented artist and also taught art at Cathedral School for 27 years. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and member of St. Mary Basilica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony B. Tuccio, her parents and her siblings.
Survivors include her four children, Anthony Tuccio and wife, Marty, Joseph Tuccio and wife, Diane, all of Natchez, John Tuccio and wife, Gloria, Elaine King and husband, John, all of Austin, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Rose Blackwell and husband, Buddy, of Natchez and Rose Tuccio of New York; eight grandchildren, Andy Tuccio adn wife, Jennifer, Guy Tuccio and wife, Misty, Gene Tuccio, Michelle Brown and husband, Adam, Evan King, Stephen King, Sam King and Nick Tuccio; and four great-grandchildren, Riley Drew, Gianna Tuccio and Margaret Ann Brown.
Pallbearers will be Andy Tuccio, Guy Tuccio, Gene Tuccio, Adam Brown, Stephen King and Evan King.
A speical thanks to the staff at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, Dr. Kenneth Stubbs and two caregivers, Valerie Brady and Barbara Dunbar.
Memorials may be made to Cathedral School.
