11:14 Annie McDonaldDOLOROSO — Funeral services for Annie Elizabeth Dennis McDonald, 69, of Allen, Texas , formerly of Doloroso, who died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Univesta Baptist Church in Doloroso with the Rev. Charles Bell officiating.

Burial will follow at the Univesta Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. McDonald was born March 17, 1944, in Woodville, the daughter of Dutch and Mattie Dennis.

She attended Alcorn State University and obtained a master of science in education in 1977.

She was a retired teacher and attended Univesta Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Valerie D. James and Bernice Prater; four brothers, Norris Dennis, Ponce L. Dennis, Audrey K. Dennis and Britton Dennis.

She is survived by two sons, John Dennis and wife, Vedra Daniels and Frederick Dennis and wife, Tambria, all of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; five grandchildren, Jaylon Dennis, Joiya Dennis, Jaida Dennis, Kendrick Kennedy and Jorryn Dennis, all of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; two sisters, Ruth Barnes, of Natchez and Rosa Johnson, of Woodville; one brother, Bismark Dennis and wife, Blanche, of Augusta; a beloved nephew, Michael Thomas , of Woodville; a special friend Johnny McDonald, of Woodville and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, fellow teachers and friends.

Pallbearers will be Irvin James, Audrey Dennis Jr., Derex Cain and Vincent Knight.
