LA PUENTE, Calif. — Funeral services for Arthur James Dennis, 71, of La Puente, Calif., formerly of Woodville, who died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, were held Oct. 2, 2013, at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in La Puenta with the Rev. Anthony L. Dockery officiating.

Mr. Dennis was born, Feb. 15, 1942, in Woodville, the son of Mose Dennis Sr. and Annette Burns Dennis.

Survivors include his wife Annie; two children, Chuniqua Dennis and husband, Denyveous Sr. and Aisha Dennis; two brothers, Prince Dennis and Roosevelt Minor; one sister, Rosie Douglas; two grandchildren; seven sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
