Alcorn State coach Hopson 12th for Eddie Robinson award

LORMAN — Alcorn State University head football coach Jay Hopson placed 12th of 21 coaches in the voting for the 2013 Eddie Robinson Football Championship Subdivision Coach of the Year Award Monday.
Craig Bohl, head coach of North Dakota State University, won the Eddie Robinson Award for the second straight year after taking the Bisons to back-to-back FCS national championship games.
Hopson coached the Braves to a 9-3 overall record, including a 48-33 win against Jackson State University and a 44-38 win against Southwestern Athletic Conference champions Southern University.
