HARRISONBURG — Services for Elizabeth “Susie” DeSeta Boothe, 69, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rosin Creek Church in Harrisonbug, with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.
Burial will follow in Boothe Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rosin Creek Church.
Mrs. Boothe was born July 27, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY., the daughter of Pasquale C. DeSeta and Patricia Mae Lindley.
She was a resident of Vidalia and a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from teaching after more than 39 years.
Mrs. Boothe was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Bradshaw.
Survivors include three sons, Patrick Leo Boothe, of Washington, DC., Christopher Lee Boothe, of Vidalia, and Joseph Anthony Boothe, of Arlington, Va.
Pallbearers will be Ellis Boothe Jr., Barry Boothe, James Doles, Wyatt Boothe, Brian Mulhearn and Jimmy Hearn.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Mayo, Shelby Boothe, Pat Doles and Wiley Boothe.
