Natchez Garden Club announces pageant court

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Garden Club has announced its 2014 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The pages, maids and generals in the royal court will serve the Natchez Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.
Thomas Avery Middleton
Thomas Avery Middleton is son Mr. and Mrs Tom Middleton. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilson L. Alexander and Mrs. Peggy Middleton and the late John W. “Jake” Middleton of Natchez.
Avery is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Mississippi State University, where he is majoring in finance.
He is a member of Kappa Alpha and Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society.
Avery enjoys golf and hunting.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Soiree, Raising of the Flag, Flag Runner and Ring Bearer in The Wedding.
Michael Chase Patrick
Michael Chase Patrick is the nephew of Chuck and Chris Borum. He is the grandson of Jeanette Patrick.
Chase is a 2012 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. While at Trinity he played for the 2009 and 2010 state champion football team and the 2011 state champion baseball team. Chase attends Southwest Community College in Summit and is a member of the support crew for the marching and the stage bands.
He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Natchez. He is an Eagle Scout. During his days as a Boy Scout he became active in American Indian dancing and won national recognition as a champion grass dancer.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Indian, Picnic, Flag Runner and Polka.
Dylan Scott Sandidge
Dylan Scott Sandidge is the son of Scott Sandidge and Cecelia Wheeler. His is the grandson of Mitchell and Janice Sandidge and Earl and Corrine Cotten.
Dylan is a 2012 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he is majoring in sports medicine. He also plays soccer at Co-Lin.
He enjoys running, playing soccer and drawing.
His past pageant participation includes Soiree, Polka and Indian in Raising of the Flag.
Semmes Raphael White
Semmes Raphael White is the son of Lee White and Wendy White. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Neher of Ruston, La., and Mrs. Jaqueline White and the late Joseph White.
Semmes is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Millsaps College, where he is majoring in accounting. He plays football for the Millsaps Majors, is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order, Catholic Student Association and is on the president’s list at Millsaps.
He enjoys building fine wooden furniture.
His past pageant participation includes Big Maypole, Picnic and Soiree.
Jacob Warren Brown
Jacob Warren Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Travis Brown. He is the grandson of Nancy Brown and the late Lannie Brown of Ferriday and the late W.H. and Eunice Trisler of Jonesville.
Jake is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he is majoring in business.
He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He enjoys hunting, fishing and softball.
Russell Bennett Goodman
Russell Bennett Goodman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Goodman. He is the grandson of Ms. Berkley Goodman and the late Jack Goodman of Ferriday and the late Dr. and Mrs. Sidney Johnson of Crosby.
Russell is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends Mississippi State University, where he is majoring in accounting. He is a member of the National Honor Society.
He enjoys fishing, hunting, riding ATVs and MSU sports.
Adam Emanuel Kaiser
Adam Emanuel Kaiser is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clements J. “Bubba” Kaiser. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Powell Kaiser of Natchez and Ms. Alice Eubanks of Mize and Mr. Larry Sims of Stringer.
Adam is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School. He won numerous football awards. He attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order and currently attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he is majoring in business.
He enjoys hunting and fishing.
His past pageant participation includes Virginia Reel.
Landon Blake Martin
Landon Blake Martin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ham and Mr. and Mrs. Luke Martin. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Maurice Holland and the late Lena Joyce Rabb-Holland and the late Mr. Luke Martin Sr. and the late Beatrice Tarver Martin of Ferriday.
Blake is a 2012 graduate of Cathedral High School and is currently attending Baton Rouge Community College. He will be transferring to LSU this fall to major in accounting and finance.
At Cathedral, Blake lettered in baseball for four years, soccer for four years, cross country for three years and track for one year. He was voted “most spirited” while at Cathedral.
He earned All-District Honors, All Region Honors, a Second Team All-State Pitcher nomination and for 2011-2012 Most Valuable Player in baseball and several top titles in soccer and cross country.
Blake enjoys baseball, soccer, fishing and hunting.
His past pageant participation includes Soiree and Polka.
Mary Catherine Wilkerson
Mary Catherine Wilkerson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ulmer II and
Mr. and Mrs. Reagan Wilkerson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Jack Pope Jr., Mr.
Jack Walker and the late Gayle Tilbury Walker, the late Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Wilkerson, Mrs. Anna Ulmer and the late William Ulmer.
Mary Catherine is a 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. She attends the University of Louisana-Monroe and is majoring in communications.
Mary Catherine is a member of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta sorority at the University of Louisiana-Monroe of which she is also a member of the executive council.
Mary Catherine enjoys working with her sorority’s philanthropy, as well as participating in intramural activities on campus.
Her past pageant participation includes Maypole, Picnic, Placard Bearer, Raising of the Flag, Polka, The Bride in The Wedding as well as Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid, Soireé, Soireé lead and the 2013 Court.
Sarah Elizabeth Bryan
Sarah Elizabeth Bryan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bryan. She is the granddaughter of Annette Lowery and the late Robert Lowery of Vidalia and Betty Bryan and the late Thomas Bryan of Woodville.
Sarah is a 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. She attends Mississippi College and is working toward a Bachelor of Science in history.
Sarah is a member of the Nenamoosha Social Tribe and is swaps and socials chairperson. She is also in the history club and is a scouts and orientation leader. She is on the president’s list and dean’s list.
She enjoys reading, sports and music.

Laura Ann Brown
Laura Ann Brown is the daughter of Ms. Ann Elizabeth Kaiser and Mr. Douglas Louie Brown Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Ann Carter Kaiser and the late Mr. Francis Sheldon Kaiser Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Louie Brown Sr. all of Natchez.
Laura Ann attended Cathedral High School and Trinity Episcopal Day School. She currently attends Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge, where she is majoring in liberal arts.
While at Cathedral, Laura Ann was a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club. She lettered in cross county, cheerleading and soccer and was a member of the tennis team.
At Trinity she received the physics award and the fine arts award. She was a member of the National Honor Society, tennis team and football manager. Laura Ann was a member of the Natchez Music Festival Junior Guild and a volunteer.
Laura Ann enjoys volunteering for charitable organizations such as the Louisiana ASPCA and Out of the Darkness Walk-AFSP. She also enjoys fostering animals, tennis, running, Frisbee golf, faux fishing, painting and participating in film.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Virginia Reel, Can Can and Polka.
Susanna Southern
Susanna Southern is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Inman White and Mr. Brent Southern.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bill Rush Mosby Jr. and the late Mr. Bill Rush Mosby Jr. of Natchez, Ms. Kay Walker Southern and the late Dr. M.E. Southern of Monroe, La., and Ms. Jacquelyn White of Natchez.
Susanna is a 2011 graduate of Jackson Academy and attends the University of Mississippi, where she is majoring in accounting. She is on the chancellor’s honor roll and was inducted into Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society and Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Honor Society.
She is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, has done volunteer work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Habitat for Humanity and is a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole.
Savannah Lynn Vance
Savannah Lynn Vance is the daughter of Natalie Dunn and Mickey Vance. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Lydia Dunn of Natchez and Lucy Vance and the late Durward Vance of Newton.
Savannah is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and attends Mississippi College, where she is majoring in secondary education. She is a member of the Swananoa Social Tribe.
She enjoys tennis, biking, kayaking and reading.
Her past pageant participation includes Picnic, The Wedding, Little Maypole and Polka.
Julia Voss Stevens
Julia Voss Stevens is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stevens. She is the granddaughter of George and Anita Souderes of Natchez and the late Nell Ervin.
Julia is a 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and is currently attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where she is majoring in nursing.
She has played softball since age 3.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Flower Girl in The Wedding, Fife Player and Polka.
Kathryn Margaret Steele
Kathryn Margaret Steele is the daughter of Kenneth and Pam Steele. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Beatrice Steele and the late Wayne Steele of Natchez and the late Glenn and Vivian Henry of Natchez.
Katie is a 2012 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School where she was salutatorian. She is a sophomore at Mississippi College majoring in biology.
She is a member of the Nenamoosha Social Tribe at MC. Her freshman year she was a pitcher for the Lady Choctaws softball team.
Katie enjoys watching movies, listening to all kinds of music and sports especially softball.

Morgan Elizabeth Huber
Morgan Elizabeth Huber is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Huber. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Huber of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur M. Williams III of West Monroe, La.
Morgan is a 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and attends the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she is majoring in pharmacy.
In high school she was a cheerleader for four years and was senior homecoming maid. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority and Kappa Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society.
She enjoys participating in intramurals, being active in her sorority, Phi Mu, ULM football and going to church.
Her past pageant participation includes Polka.
Faith Ann Johnson
Faith Ann Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Johnson. She is the granddaughter of E.W. and Debra Smith of Vidalia and Yvonne Cothren of Natchez.
She is in kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School.
She loves to ride horses, dance ballet, do gymnastics and play with her friends.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Showboat, which she has participated since she was 2 years old.
Elizabeth Eloise “Ella” Skates
Elizabeth Eloise “Ella” Skates is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Skates. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ball, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Janette and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Skates.
She is in kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School and is a member of St. Mary Basilica.
Ella loves helping others and is a big supporter of Locks of Love. She has donated 10 inches of her hair to help other children. She plays softball and takes ballet. She enjoys the outdoors and loves hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers. She is always cheering for the Cathedral Greenwave and for the New Orleans Saints.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole for three years and The Picnic.
Douglas Owen Jordan II
Douglas Owen Jordan II is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug O. Jordan. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kenneth Jordan Sr. of Natchez, Mr. and Mrs. James June of Ferriday, Mr. David E. Landry and Ms. Marcy Magette Landry of Lafayette, La.
He is in kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School.
Owen enjoys karate, soccer, t-ball and basketball. He attends First Baptist Church in Natchez and is active in the children’s choir and Mission Friends. He enjoys hunting and fishing.
