ST. JOSEPH, La. — Graveside services for Mary Kate Barksdale, 78, of St. Joseph, La., who died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.

Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barksdale was born Jan. 15, 1936, in St. Joseph, the daugther of Olivia Hammond.

She was a retired clerk for the City of Los Angeles.

Mrs. Barksdale was preceded in death by her mother; and husband, Fred Barksdale.

Survivors include her pastor, the Rev. Adrian Lundy of Newellton, La.; and church family, the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of St. Joseph.
