FERRIDAY — Graveside services for Margaret Rachel King, 92, of Vidalia, at her residence, will be at 11:30 today at Woodlawn Mausoleum with the Rev. Truman Staggs officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. King was born May, 24, 1921, in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Robert Dixon and Elizabeth Molbolland Clark.
She was a homemaker. She was a devout member of Vidalia Methodist Church in Vidalia and former president of the UMW and women’s Sunday school group.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #35 and loved her work there. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orval Lee King; and one sister, Mary E. Klein.
Survivors include a dear friend, Jo Greer; and a number of nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, all donations may be made to Shrine Children’s Hospital in Shreveport.
