Leroy Dutton Sr. and Karen Dutton of Lake St. John announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Dutton to Paul Mathis, son of Steve and Evette Cross of Monterey and Bobby Mathis of Alvin, Texas.

The bride-to-be is employed by Grocery Depot in Ferriday.

She is the granddaughter of Della Lemoine of Vidalia and the late Burton Lemoine and Dorothy Dutton of Ridgecrest and the late Robert Dutton Sr.

The groom-to-be is employed by H&P Drilling in Ohio.

He is the grandson of Clay Paul of Monterey and the late Willidene Paul, Mary Lou Cross of Vidalia and the late Herman Cross and the late Bobbie Mathis of Woodville.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Natchez gazebo.

A reception will follow at Bowie’s Tavern in the Barrel Room.
