Mr. Jerry and Mrs. Diana Franklin of Natchez announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jerrika D. Berry to Kendrick I. Alexander, son of Mr. Harry and Mrs. Lisa Anderson of Memphis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and also a graduate of Alcorn State University.

She is employed by Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of the late D’Evereux Berry and Theodore McMorris of Natchez and Ezekial and Phillistine Franklin of Centreville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Kirby High School and also a graduate of Jackson State University.

He is employed by Jackson Public School District.

He is the grandson of Rose McCullum and Wilfred Alexander of San Francisco and Jessie Richardson and Thomas Wallace of Natchez.

The wedding will be Saturday, March 8, 2014, in Jackson with close family and friends in attendance.

A reception will follow.
