Co-Lin Chopped pits chefs in competition

NATCHEZ — The first Copiah-Lincoln Chopped competition will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Nelson-Multipurpose Room at Co-Lin’s Natchez Campus.
The competition will pit two well-known area chefs against each other in a battle of culinary skill.
Chef Bingo Starr from the Carriage House restaurant will be facing Chef Michael Minor of 1818 Restaurant at Monmouth.
Each chef will have sous chefs from the Co-Lin Culinary Arts program.
Mystery baskets will take center stage as the chefs and their assistants will have 45 minutes to create a culinary masterpiece, which will be judged.
The public is encouraged to attend the event. Admission is free, and the Culinary Arts department will offer free hors d’oeuvres.
