LARTO — Services for Marie Hudson, 83, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Larto Baptist Church with the Rev. Mack Walker, the Rev. Perry Gardner and the Rev. James Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in Pease Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of Herman and Maud Goetzman.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Herman J. Goetzman, Edwin J. Goetzman and John C. Goetzman; and one grandson, Eric Hudson.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil “Buster” Hudson; one son, Sam Hudson of Ferriday; three daughters, Deborah LaPrairie of Oaklahoma City, Okla., Lindy Delhoste and husband, Cam, of Point Pleasant, W. Va. and Anna Marie Wilson and husband, Larry, of Jonesville; one sister, Betty Ann Andrews of Arp, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tim LaPrairie, Tess O’Rourke, LaShay Cole, Joseph Delhoste, Toby Wilson, Jordan Wilson and Kayla Hudson; four great-grandchildren, Cami Cole, Carson Cole, Riley O’Rourke and Brennan O’Rourke; and a number of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tim LaPrairie, Toby Wilson, Joseph Delhoste, Jordan Wilson, Joe Duncan, Nelson LaPrairie, Kevin O’Rourke and Mark Andrews Sr.
