Joe and Andrea Irvin of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter Dori Reed to Matt Jett, son of Zeny Jett of Kilgore, Texas. The groom-to-be is also the son of the late M.N. Jett.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

She is the granddaughter of Alton and Betty Pecanty of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be was homeschooled in Henderson, Texas, and is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

He is employed by Northern Louisiana Medical Center as a Systems Analyst in Ruston, La.

The wedding will be April 19, 2014.
