MONTEREY — Monterey High School was scheduled to host Stanley High School Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the LHSAA Class B Baseball Playoffs. But heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout the area during the day put a halt to that.

The inclement weather forced the game to be postponed until 1 p.m. today. Monterey is the No. 1 seed in Class B while Stanley is the No. 8 seed.
