Iona Lee Whitehead of Saucier and Chris and Missy Whitehead of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Lynn Whitehead to Terry Eugene Thames, son of Hugh and Carolyn Thames of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Harrison Central High School of Gulfport.

She is the granddaughter of Bill and Rosa Lee of Natchez and Martha Whitehead Smith and the late Richard “Jack” Whitehead of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is employed by Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of the late Eugene and Myrtis Green of Natchez and the late James A. and Bertha Thames of Vidalia.

The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Concordia Parish Community Center in Ferriday.

A reception will follow.
