CLAYTON — Services for David Earl Drummer, 48, of Clayton, who died Sunday, May 25, 2014,  will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Burial will follow in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Drummer was born July 31, 1965, in Ferriday, the son of George Drummer Jr. and Eura Daigrepont Drummer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Terry Glenn Drummer; grandmother Ruby Tarver Bennett; and grandfather George Drummer Sr.

Survivors include one son, Josh Drummer, of Monterey; one daughter, Ashley Ramsey and husband, Richard, of Monterey; one granddaughter, Jenna Ramsey; one brother, Leonard Ray Drummer and wife, Ellen, of Coushatta, La.; two sisters, Linda Nettles and husband, Kenneth, of Richmond, Texas, and Georgia Ann Drummer of Ferriday; and special friend Debbie McGlothin of Clayton.
