Lake St. John — Lake St. John Water Works issued a boil-water notice Saturday for all of its customers.

Water Works office manager Ruby Andrus said a break in water main occurred. The system was shut down, Andrus said, and repairs made to fix the break.

The state health department, however, requires that a boil-water notice be issued anytime the system has to be shut down, Andrus said.
