Christy Bowman reacts while being dumped with ice water on Alabama Street in Vidalia Thursday. Bowman, who is a member of the Krewe of Heart and Soul, participated in an ice challenge, which gives people the opportunity to donate money to a charity of their choice or be doused with ice water. Those who decline the ice-cold bath are encouraged to pay $100, and even those who do get soaked are still asked to donated between $10 to $50.
