Stephen and Sharon Hoover of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Jayne Hoover to Jake Williams, son of Gene and Faye Williams of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and is a graduate of Copiah- Lincoln Community College in Natchez.

She is employed by Natchez Women’s Center in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Keith of Ferriday, the late Charles Dye of Panola, Okla., and Jane Hoover and the late Dale “Red” Hoover of Waterproof.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez.

He is employed by Advanced Building Service in Ferriday.

He is the grandson of Cleta Faye Brumfield and the late Henry Brumfield of Natchez and Mary Williams and the late Melvin Williams of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Weymouth Hall in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
