ALEXANDRIA, La. — Memorial services for Wayne Simpson, who died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at his residence, will be in Natchez at a later date.

Mr. Simpson is also missed by his best friend and wing man, his black lab, Butch.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Rabalais Simpson; one daughter, Racheal Sue Madenwald and husband, Chad, of Fort Collins, Colo.; one son, Kenneth Wayne Simpson of Boyce, La.; his parents, Ray and Joyce Simpson of Vidalia; three brothers, William Ray Simpson and wife, Kitty, and Wade Simpson, all of Natchez, and Garry Simpson and wife, Jan, of Vidalia; and one brother-in-law, Leonard Rabalais.
