James and Theresa DeRossette of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Elizabeth DeRossette to Justin Michael Nosser, son of George and Vicki Nosser of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Donna Howell DeRossette of Vicksburg.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore L. Howell, Mrs. Charles G. Gore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wallace C. DeRossette, all of Vicksburg.

She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and another in paralegal studies.

She is employed by Capital One in New Orleans.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Frances Nosser, the late George J. Nosser Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Nichols, all of Natchez.

He is also a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a master of science degree in engineering technology.

He is employed by Textron Systems in New Orleans.

The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.
