NATCHEZ — Services for Michael Anthony Robinson, 35, of Pass Christian, who died, Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Christopher Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his mother, Lorana R. Mitchell; paternal grandparents, George and Stella Shelby; and one great-aunt, Reathere M. Hampton.
Survivors include his loving father, Alvin Shelby Sr. of Natchez; five sisters, Angela Beamer and husband, Eric, and Leah R. “Baby Sister” Robinson, all of Natchez, Sheena Shelby of Atlanta, Katreena Shelby of Washington, D.C., and Amanda Shelby of Los Angeles; eight brothers, Maurice Robinson, the Rev. Christopher Robinson and wife, Naomi, Ricky Givens and James Mitchell Jr., all of Natchez, Alvin Shelby Jr. of Kaleen, Texas, Jerrist Shelby of Houston and Ki-Yuan White of Tallahassee, Fla.; his stepfather, James Mitchell Sr. of Natchez; grandparents, Ruthie L. Robinson and Ruth Norbitt, both of Natchez; eight aunts, Mary L. Harris and husband, the Rev. Herman Harris, Bobbie J. Ignot and husband, Eric, all of Winnsboro, La., Jessie Morgan and husband, Buddy, Sheila Howard and husband, Cleveland, and Maxine Seales, all of Natchez, Nancy Dixon and husband, Elbert, of Roxie, Lillian Ann Reed of Jackson and Gwendolyn Proby of Memphis, Tenn.; eight uncles, Willie Smith and wife, Ava, of Detroit, Charles Smith and wife, JoAnn, of Ferriday, Earnest L.
