NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Clementine Gibson Laird, 94, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at New Salem Church of Christ in Brookhaven under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 12:15 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Laird was born March 27, 1920, in New Orleans, the daughter of Jesse Moore Gibson and Elva Marie Breaux.

She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.

Laird was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ira Lee Laird.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Edmund O.P. of Columbus, Ohio, and Clovis Voltmann of Van, Texas; one grandson, Craig Mader of Tallahassee, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
