NATCHEZ — Services for Jerry Chris Streetman, 58, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Community Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Streetman was born July 21, 1956, in Houston, the son of Ray C. Streetman and Patricia Praytor Streetman.
He was a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and attended Ole Miss. He was self-employed and worked in the oil industry. His motto was “God, family, oil and football.”
Mr. Streetman was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother of Natchez; two sons, Keith and Coulter, both of Natchez; one granddaughter, Mahli Ambrose Streetman of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Bert Streetman and wife, Christie, of Moscow, Russia; one sister, Angelia Streetman of DeVrient of Natchez; one nephew, Adam DeVrient and wife, Brandy, of Natchez; two great-nephews, Whitman and Thacker DeVrient, both of Natchez; and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
Pallbearers will be sons, Keith and Coulter, Donald Shupe, Greg Smith, Robert Wallis and Tim Frite.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men’s prayer group at Community Chapel Church of God.
