NATCHEZ — Services for Sedrick Wayne Parker, 45, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Parker was born Nov. 20, 1969, in Natchez, the son of William and Elizabeth Conner.

He was a 1987 graduate of North Natchez High School and attended Alcorn State University and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Mr. Parker was employed by Von Drehle as an electrician.

He was Baptist.

Mr. Parker enjoyed spending time with his son.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son who he adored, Seth Parker; one brother, William Conner of Lake Butler, Fla.; four sisters, Sabrina C. Davis, Demetris Conner, Almeter Brown and husband, Louis, and Twanza Conner, all of Natchez; special friends, Gwendolyn Parker and Chatodo Warren; special cousin, Henry Virgil; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Pallbearers will be co-workers at Von Drehle Corporation.
