BUDE — Services for Dorothy Jean “Big Dot” Adams, 61, of Bude, who died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Little Rock African Methodist Episcopal Church in Bude with the Rev. Robert McDonald officiating.

Burial will follow at the Meadville-New Fork Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Ms. Adams was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Bude, the daughter of Alex Adams and Lottie M. Bee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nancy L. Reeds.

Survivors include two sisters, Maggie Jackson and husband, L.J., of Bude and Katie R. Gary and husband, Clarence, of Dallas; three brothers, Glenn Bee and wife, Betty Ann, and Willie C. Bee, all of Bude, and Charles R. Bee of Meadville; three godchildren, DéAnte Berry, Essence Walker and LaToya Coleman, all of Bude; five special friends; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
