FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Carmon Cameron, 77, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Cameron was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Grand Saline, Texas, the son of Norman and Cleo Cameron.
He was retired from American General Insurance Company after 40 years. He was an avid trap shooter and traveled to a number of states and won many awards at shooting events. He enjoyed duck hunting all over Concordia Parish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Tristan Cameron; one sister, Clorette Cameron Greer; and stepmother, Francis Cameron.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pat Tullos Cameron; one son, Craig Cameron and wife, Renee, of Zachary, La.; two grandchildren, Katlyn Cameron and Morgan Cook; two grandsons, John Brady Cameron and Sean Chenevert; one great-grandson, Aaron Stevens; one sister-in-law, Judy Carroll; and two nieces, Dana Bolyer and Melissa Hale.
