FERRIDAY— Volinda Sue Ozborn, 55, a homemaker from Vidalia, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Ozborn was born Oct. 15, 1959, the daughter of LV Bolyer Sr. and Margie E. Goodger Bolyer.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and mother-in-law. She loved her family with all her heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Ms. Ozborn was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Margie Faye Phillips; and one daughter, Denise Danielle “DD” Carlton.
Survivors include three children, Theodore Johnson Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Ferriday, Amber Morgan of Vidalia and Joy Deville and husband, Jeffrey, of Slaughter, La.; 14 grandchildren, Austin, Makayla, Kaitlyn, Devin, Kayden, Elisha, Ann, Antwanette, Ruby Anne, LV, Triston, Cheyenne, Adam and Tricia; one great-grandchild, Mallory; four brothers, Billy Wayne Bolyer and wife, Linda, of Port Allen, La., Allen Lee Turner and wife, Nita, of Maringouin, La., Loren “Bubba” and wife, Mitz, and LV Jr. and wife, Vickie, all of Vidalia; and three sisters, Betty Jeane Cannella of Grosstate, La., Jennett Watford and husband, Lloyd, of Hazelgreen, Ala., and Cathy Smith of Plaquemine, La.
