NATCHEZ — Services for Dennis Earl Bates, 57, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bates was born July 13, 1957, in Adams County, the son of Charles and Leola Bates.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Alicia N. Bates.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Anderson Bates; two sisters, Carlee Bates and Barbara Bates; five brothers, Charles Bates, George Bates, Robert Bates, Glen Bates and James Earl Banks; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
