ROXIE — Services for Melvina Kay Wright, 52, of Roxie, who died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roxie First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lamar Briggs officiating.

Burial will follow at the Leesdale Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. today at funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Wright was born March 26, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of Joe Lewis Wright and Mattie Lee Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Bernadine Williams and Sandra Wright.

Survivors include seven sisters, Carol Dixon Hickingbottom, Wanda Summerhill, Sharon Hunt and husband, Keith, Joyce King and husband, Willie, Julia Smith and husband, George, Jacqueline Mitchell and husband, Fred, and Earnestine Selmon and husband, Ben; eight brothers, Arthur Lee Williams and wife, Andre, Mauriece Williams, Raymond Wright, Rufus Gibson, Ronald Gibson, Greg Gibson and wife, Cookie, John Gibson and wife, Sherlerie, and Demon King; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
