NATCHEZ — Services for Marilyn Freeman Laughlin, 60, of Blairsville, Ga., formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, March 16, 2015, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Fulton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Laughlin was born Dec. 3, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Marion William Freeman and Luna Gladys Ratcliff Freeman.

Mrs. Freeman was previously employed by Big Lots in Murphy, Ga., for a number of years. She loved horses, shopping, decorating and painting. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She cherished her family.

She was Methodist.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Martin Freeman.

Survivors include one daughter, Krese Crandall of Natchez; one son, Cody Vestal of Blairsville; three sisters, Dorothy Craft of Waterproof, Shirley Valentine and husband, Melton, of St. Joseph and Juanee Pirie and husband, William, of Clinton; four grandchildren, Maxine, Bradley and Jacob Crandall and Julian Snow; and a number of co-workers, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Andy Travis, Aaron Pirie, Curtis Martin, Mayo Craft, Ethan Craft and Roper Craft.
