Staff Sergeant Kristopher Termaine McDonald

KIRBY — Funeral services for Staff Sergeant Kristopher Termaine McDonald, 34, of Jacksonville, N.C., who died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Mass., will be at noon on Monday at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Kirby with the Rev. Robert W. Fleming officiating.

Burial will follow at Burnette Cemetery under direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

McDonald was born on Oct. 29, 1980, in Meadville, the son of Mary D. McDonald and Clarence Harris.

McDonald served in the United States Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandmothers, Rosie Moore and Ruby Harris; and two sisters, Tammie McDonald and Tiffany McWee.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley McDonald; father; grandfather, Forest Moore; two daughters, Anaya Young and Alana McDonald; son, Zorian McDonald; sister, Rosemary McDonald; niece, E’nya Smith; special friend, Kendrick Hickingbotham; and a number of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
