NATCHEZ — Starting today, Natchez Regional Medical Center will begin paving its employee parking lot — weather permitting.
Kay Ketchings, hospital spokesperson, said the project should be finished by mid-May.
Although primarily used by staff, some spaces near the hospital are available for patients. The lot is accessed at the intersection of U.S. 61 and John R. Junkin Drive.
“There will continue to be ample parking for patients, visitors and employees during the project,” Ketchings said in a press release. Paving and striping the lot will be completed in phases so it can continue to be used throughout the duration of the project.
Affected areas will be blocked off from use. As much work as possible will be coordinated on nights and weekends to minimize disruptions.
