Bill Smith, a two-time cancer survivor who is now fighting pancreatic cancer, laughs while getting help from pilot Jim Davis as they get into Davis’ plane. Davis, 74, a cancer survivor himself, is battling lung cancer, is flying to all of the lower 48 states in the country giving flights to cancer survivors and fighters in every state. The journey, which started in Davis’ home state of Arkansas, is called Passion Flights for Life. Davis wants the trip to tell other cancer survivors that there is still life to be lived with cancer.
