NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Theresa Cameron, 78, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. James Fallon, S.S.J., officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Natchez.
Visitation will be at 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and at 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Mrs. Cameron was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Lorman, the daughter of Squire Brinkley Sr. and Daisy Walker Brinkley.
She was a member of Knights of Peter Claver Fourth Degree, Ladies of Grace, H.R. Marshall/Sister E. Brinkley Chapter No. 44, Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary-Father Morrisey Court No. 9 Third Degree, The Catherine Williams Club and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 228.
Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Isom Cameron; four sisters, Sister Mary Adele Brinkley SSF, Genevea Brinkley Morgan, Sister M. Edith Brinkley SSF and Daisy B. Martin; five brothers, Elvin Brinkley, Alfred Brinkley, Edward LaSalle Brinkley, Samuel Brinkley and Leonard Brinkley.
Survivors include one son, Larry D. McQuarters of Dallas; one daughter, Pamela R. Johnson and husband, Weldon; one grandson, Cameron I. Johnson, all of Fresno, Texas; one brother, Squire Brinkley Jr. of Lorman; one sister, Serena Davis of Natchez; two sisters-in-law, Willie Ethel Brinkley and Carrie Brinkley, both of Lorman; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
