NATCHEZ — Services for Carl Randall Evans, 52, who died Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fourth Street Church of Christ.

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 4 to 4:45 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue at 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Evans was born June 26, 1962, in Natchez, the son of John Evans and Vanilla Wimberly Evans.

He enjoyed fishing, dancing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Carl was preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Carla Evans Sly; three aunts, Thelma Clark, Annie Baker and Lucille Wimberly; and two uncles, Charles Evans and Billy Evans.

Survivors include four sons, JaColby Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Carl Evans Jr. and John Evans, all of Natchez; two daughters, Apollonia Evans and Tanieka Johnson, both of Natchez; eight grandchildren; his father and wife, Cordelia; one sister, Johniece White and husband, Leon, all of Natchez, three brothers, Jonathan Evans of Reno, Nev., Ivan Evans and Roderick Evans, both of Natchez; one godsister, Trisha Burdette and husband, Angelo; two stepbrothers, Greg Jones and wife, Bonnie, Chris Jones and wife, Pam, all of Natchez; one stepsister, Sonya Cameron and husband, Isom, of Dallas; two aunts, Dorothy Champ of Natchez and Mable Evans of Port Arthur, Texas; and other relatives and friends.
