Photo feature: Black bear found hanging out in Ridgecrest tree

A black bear was spotted in a Ridgecrest backyard Thursday. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries responded and was able to get the bear into a trap. The juvenile male bear will be evaluated and fitted with a GPS tracking collar before being release back into the wild.
