NATCHEZ — Services for Bertha Lee McDonald, 73, of Natchez, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. today at Milford Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Alsworth officiating.

Burial will follow at the Free Spring Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. McDonald was born Feb. 6, 1942, in Doloroso, the daughter of Arthur McDonald and Janie Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include eight children, Wesley McDonald and Louis McDonald of Irving, Texas, Jerry McDonald of Dallas, Janice Brown and husband, Kenneth, of Philadelphia, N.Y., Alton McDonald of Harrison, Ark., Anniece McDaniel and husband, Reginald, of Garland, Texas, Debbie McDonald of Desoto, Texas, and Raymond McDonald and wife, Michelle, of Natchez; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
